43 Degrees is a specialist consultancy company, based in Christchurch, which provides services to organisations across New Zealand in the following three key areas:

  • Assessment of staff, managers and owner operators for the purposes of selection and/or development
  • Improving individual, group and business performance through development training and coaching
  • Effectively managing organisational change and the impact on managers and staff

With extensive experience over a wide range of industries our team have joined together to provide organisations with the most up to date, research supported solutions available. We aim to address our clients' business challenges by providing services that will demonstrate a genuine advantage to those organisations.


Heidi Wilkinson

Heidi is an Assessment and Human Resources Specialist, with a background in Industrial/Organisational psychology.
Heidi’s main areas of focus and experience include HR processes and tools, training and development, and assessment and surveys. She combines her academic training and practical work experience to provide practical, well-supported solutions to organisations.

Prior to joining 43 Degrees, Heidi worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a Senior Human Resource Consultant providing specialist retention, assessment, survey, recruitment and development services to a wide range of organisations in New Zealand.

Heidi has a Master of Science (First Class Honours) in Psychology from Massey University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial/Organisational Psychology from the University of Canterbury. She is a current member of HRINZ.

Murray Armstrong

Murray specialises in transition and change management and works in partnership with companies that lead the market in outplacement and change management. Murray also has significant experience in training and development including programme design, delivery and evaluation.

Prior to joining 43 Degrees, Murray worked as a consultant for a number of companies providing solutions in strategic planning and executive development. Previously, he worked in New Zealand and overseas in banking and finance, first as a financial markets trader and then as a senior financial trader responsible for training and development.

Murray has a positive and practical approach and is effective at making people comfortable and getting results.

Murray has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Economics from the University of Auckland.
